We Have a Special for You! Coast Bar + Bistro Serves up a Tasty Menu of Weekly Deals

Wednesday is now 1/2 Price Beer and Burgers at Coast Bar + Bistro.

With the New Year off and running, we are thrilled to look back at the great success of 2014 and we have a plan in place to build on it to make 2015 even better for our guests at The Daniel and patrons of Coast Bar+ Bistro.

From happy hours to live music nights to special holiday dinners, Coast Bar + Bistro is a happening place for all at The Daniel and for many of its growing fans from around the region.

To keep the buzz going, we have rolled out a killer weekly special lineup that kicks off on Jan. 26. Combine this with our live music nights — every Thursday and Friday — no matter what night you choose to visit Coast Bar + Bistro, you can’t go wrong!

So let’s take a look at just what we have in store for you.

Monday

Every Monday night is Local Business Night. All local patrons who work at any local business — including local schools and universities — will get 15% off their entire check. To get the discount all you have to do is attach a business card to the check. Towns included in the special are Brunswick, Bath, Bowdoinham, Durham, Freeport, Harpswell, Lewiston, Lisbon, Phippsburg, Topsham, Woolwich and Yarmouth. Military and government employees are also included. Just show us a copy of your U.S. government-issued ID for the discount.

No business card? No worries! If you work for a local business and don’t have a card just ask your server for a slip to submit your name, address, name of business, email address and phone number.

Tuesday

Tuesday is Ladies Night. All those of the fairer sex will receive ½ price appetizers and $5 cocktails all night on Tuesday. We love the spirit of Ladies Night so come make it yours however it works best for you.

Wednesday

Wednesday is ½ Price Beer and Burgers at the bar. This special is valid all night for all those chowing down at the bar or in the high top tables serviced near the bar. If you haven’t had a burger from Coast Bar + Bistro, this is the perfect chance to get your butt down here to try one…you won’t be sorry! Try the Brunswick Burger made of house ground beef, topped with cheddar, Gritty’s Black Fly Stout braised onions and a tomato or the Bacon Picante Burger also made with local beef and topped with cheddar, as well as roasted garlic, pickled jalapeño, chipotle mayo and bacon.

Wash down that tasty burger with some local brews that are a steal at ½ price. These include Baxter Brewing Co., Gritty’s Black Fly Stout and Sheepscot Pemaquid Ale.

Saturday

Saturday is $20 Prime Rib Night. While the regular menu is available all night as well, you meat lovers can’t go wrong with Coast Bar + Bistro’s delectable prime rib. We are not talking some sampler portion, either! We guarantee you will have your fill by the time you are done.

Sunday

The success of Sunday Supper specials will continue in 2015 and anchors the lineup of the new weekly offerings Coast Bar + Bistro has. Again, the regular menu is available all night, but it is hard to go wrong with the $20 prix fixe menu that features three courses of delicious home-style comfort foods. The Sunday Supper runs from 4-9 p.m. and offers a new menu every week. It is always a delicious lineup and a great value.

Don’t believe us? Check out this recent Sunday Supper menu: Course 1 of Sweet Potato Bisque or Mixed Green Salad with Strawberry Champagne Vinaigrette; Course 2 of Yankee Pot Roast with Carrots, Red Bliss Potatoes and Onions, smothered in a Savory Stout Gravy or SKM Farfalle, House Ground Sausage sautéed with Kale and Mushrooms in a Creamy Alfredo over Farfalle Pasta; and Course 3 Apple Crisp a la mode or Mint Chocolate Cream Pie with Oreo Crust.

Our new 2015 specials lineup is sure to be a success so the only real question is, which one is your favorite? Try them all and let us know. We would love to hear!

  1. My client, Kai Dennett, played your bar on January 22nd, but has yet to be paid. In fact, your bar manager pulled him aside at the end of the night, after having not once made any effort to introduce himself to my client, and told him that although he was promised $150 in pay, that corporate was only going to pay him $87.50. However, he was not even paid that on the spot and was told that he would receive a call before noon on January 23rd when the check was ready. He has yet to hear anything at this point. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism your venue is exhibiting in this case. I will be contacting your bar manager on Monday January 26th and if my client does not receive his $150 pay check by the end of the day Monday then legal action will have to be taken.
